SKF Couplings

SKF coupling range nomenclature has a defined prefix of PHE. The coupling range is covered by limited standards, AGMA is the main standard to cover interchangeability for couplings, and spacers are covered by ANSI or ISO for
lengths.

The coupling range designation from SKF has the following is an example to
indicate set up.

SKF Designation prefix
Example:
F90 - Flex coupling size 90
1070TG – taper grid coupling size 1070
Many different supplementary designations, examples
HTB- taper bushing type H
NR – insert type Nitrile
HCOVER – cover type H, horizontal
